An AICP and SUMMIT award winner, Tyson comes to An Ideal World with over 15 years of Entertainment experience.  Originally from Orange County, he spent his late teens and early twenties in Los Angeles, where he entered the business performing in front of the camera.  Experiencing early success by starring in over 15 national commercial campaigns and various popular soap operas, he soon graduated to acting in feature films and network television shows, sharing the screen opposite notable leading lady Jeri Ryan and Chi McBride. 

After logging hundreds of hours on set, Tyson discovered a passion for the role of Director.  To date, he’s helmed over a dozen commercials for such clients as Johnson & Johnson and Jenny Craig, along with spots for major sports organizations like the Los Angeles Kings and NBA Development League. A music video director in his own right, Tyson recently completed production on a video for OCMA award winner, Aj DeGrasse, shooting in the historic downtown Orpheum Theater. Next, a socially/politically charged video for another OCMA winner, Chris Paul Overall, slated to be shot in late August.  Adding to that, a handful of original shorts, reality shows, and webisodes, he has a very well rounded body of work you will thoroughly enjoy.
