Director - Robb Hart

Robb has been working in television post-production and production since 1979. During his career, he has filmed all over the world, from the jungles of the Amazon to the Arctic Circle. Robb has worked in many genres, including: children’s programming, documentaries, drama and music. His first job was at Thames TV, the largest independent TV franchise holder in Britain at the time. In 1987 he was a Director on the team that launched MTV Europe. Robb trained as a Graphic Designer at one of the UK’s top art schools, St Martin’s School of Art.  He has worked as a Film Editor, Sound Recordist, Director, Producer and Department Head. In 1993 Robb came to the U.S to work for Virgin Interactive, where he was the Director of Digital Video. He maintains a ‘hands on’ style within An Ideal World, acting as a Director, VFX Supervisor, Editor and VFX Artist.

In 2008 Robb enjoyed the honor of being nominated and inducted into the Visual Effects Society – a select group of the very best visual effects professionals in the world.
